To make sure keep our dancers safe and our venue clean, please review our backstage guidelines listed below.
DROP-OFF & PICK-UP
Junior 1+ dancers should be dropped off at the stage door at the Masonic Heritage Center.
Young dancers (Twinkle Toes-Preparatory 3 & Beginning Ballet) should be walked to the downstairs dressing room (through the main entrance and down the stairs to the right).
WHAT YOUR PERFORMER CAN EXPECT
Pack quiet activities to keep busy during the long rehearsals at the theater! These include small dolls, magnet boards, coloring supplies (please no markers), and games.
Expect that there will be down time when your dancer is waiting for their pieces to be rehearsed.
Rehearsals at the theater can be long and tedious!
Remind your dancer to be patient, plan for some times of waiting, and to be ready at any moment to jump in when the teachers/Director is ready to rehearse their piece!
BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS
Dancers are expected to be prepared and ready to go whenever the teachers/Director is ready!
There are many moving parts at the theater and dancers must be patient while waiting their turn.
Dancers must be quick to follow directions, aware of what is going on around them, and ready to perform to the best of their ability when it is their turn!
FOOD & DRINK
ONLY water may be consumed once costumes are put on. Healthy snacks should be packed for every rehearsal.
Please refrain from bringing messy snacks like Cheetos, Pirate's Booty, and snacks that are prone to dripping (peanut butter, etc).
